Need some advice on loans and cashing out IRA

i am unemployed and have been for a few months. I am looking for a job still, but now my lease is up & my boyfriend and i are moving to a new apt. in a few short weeks. I need to come up with around ,500.00 FAST. even if i land a job tomorrow i probably won’t earn enough $ in time.

SO….. i have an IRRA (i rolled over my 401k from a previous employer into the irra) that i can take an early withdrawal from but there is a 10% penalty on top of the 20% taxes they take out when you withdraw early. Do i have any other options? Is there a bank loan i can get being unemployed, or some other way i can handle this? can i maybe get a loan using my car as collateral or something like that? I have no idea what to do, i’ve never been in this type of situation and am DESPERATE for advice. thank you in advance to anyone willing to share some ideas with me :)

I’ve been search for awhile today an i was wonder if anyone could tell me approximately how many homeless shelters are there in the united states? or give me a site that could provide the info.

Thanks

I have a H1-B visa that is still good for 2+ yrs and I am marrying my fiance (US citizen) this September in the US. I really don’t like my job and would like to leave my employer as soon as possible, so I’d like to know how long do I have to wait to be able to quit my job (or change to another employer) once I am married?

One possible small law office, one small dealership. I have heard this is a good option with quality work these days, what are the reliable companies to set this up? Thanks.

What would you say would be a reason as to why someone in America would argue why we should not help end poverty in third world countries?

One example I have is that we should be concentrating on the poverty problems we already have here in America. Are there any others?

Imagine a small town. Let’s say that a factory is the only source of jobs. That gets taken away and the town has no purchasing power. The same thing is happening the the USA but on a much larger scale. JOBS get taken away and the USA has no purchasing power. The effect is going to be the same, sooner or later. Companies worldwide depend on USA consumers to buy most of their products. So if jobs are gone, where is the purchasing power?

I often wonder why people who call themselves "religious" are sometimes so nasty and condescending to homeless people. Does treating people with compassion only apply to those people in your same economic bracket or above? Wouldn’t you want compassion if you were a victim of circumstance?

Granted there are people who have made bad choices and that’s the reason that they are homeless. Haven’t we all done things we later regretted and wish we could change?

I’m not even advocating giving the homeless money. I’m advocating that we treat them like human beings and respect their dignity.
