What would you say would be a reason as to why someone in America would argue why we should not help end poverty in third world countries?
One example I have is that we should be concentrating on the poverty problems we already have here in America. Are there any others?

For those who live in the city, we see street beggars almost everyday. We wanted to drop some coins but sometimes we woud dismiss the thought because we have a list of reasons why we shouldn’t. Then how can we really help them have a better life other than giving them money? …or should we even sacrifice our time to help them? Does it worth the effort?

I am doing a research paper on the effects of racism, socioeconomics, and racial gaps in America. Often statistics indicate that the average test scores, schooling system, health, and gdp are not at par with European levels. My question is are those numbers more equal when comparing Europeans and only white Americans. Statistics have proven that whites score significantly higher than blacks and hispanics, especially in English and Reading. I am trying to portray how racism and our inability to handle poverty in America in the past and today have really hurt us in the present times.

This question is difficult in the age of political correctness (license to lie). As I read the news from around the globe, it seems to me that poverty and social conflict are consistently associated with some ethnic groups. Is my perception wrong?

4 years ago when I were in thailand I went to the temple and met the female beggar with 3 children’s. all of her child’s look like a normal urban thai child’s. except the youngest boy looked very caucasian, and he has got a blonde hair. my dad gave her and a boy some money and I came back to tell my mom. she doesn’t believe that the caucasian-looking boy is the real child of that female beggar. she think the boy was stolen from the other people. anyway, I don’t think he is pure caucasian but probably bi-racial one. do you think is it good idea to report the police?
i hate you, I stayed thailand 4 years ago but not anymore, I moved to europe.
well, I just curious how could the beggar got the child with foreigner.
